Week 1 Camper Photographer: Grace H.

Hi my name is Grace Hittinger.  I'm eleven years old and I'm here hanging out at Ohio Dreams Camp for a week.  All the photos in this blogpost were taken by me, because I got the chance to become a camper guest photographer for a day!

We started out our day at the foam pit, taking pictures of everyone warming up for morning instruction.  This is Week One guest scooter pro, Phoenix rider Josh Kish.  He flew in from New Jersey to spend a week riding with the scooter campers.  He does some crazy tricks!

Next we went to watch the snowboard and ski campers practice on the dryland rail hill.  This is camper Nathan.  He did this second try.

After that we went to the trampoline to practice and jump.  Here is camper Hannah mid flip.  I had fun landing backflips on the trampoline.

The skiers were going to hit the ramps before lunch, so we went to check it out.  Doesn't this pool look refreshing on such a warm day?!

This is Freddy Brideweser.  He's one of the kids in the junior development program and he trains really hard at freestyle skiing.  In this picture he is spinning, flipping, and grabbing--all at the same time!

Some of the BMX kids were at the dirt trails riding.  We watched them do some awesome tricks on the jumps!  This is the drop in deck for all of the trail lines, from small to pro.

Here's a camper dropping in to one of the trail lines.

After lunch there is nap time in the cabins so everyone can rest.  Here is a shot of the girl's cabin.  Everyone has their own bunk and cubby area.

Here is Mackenzie, Sam, Abby, and Destiney having fun in the girl's cabin.

After nap time the coaches and campers were having a session on the step up in the indoor park.  This is scooter coach Dan Holm landing a very smooth 360.

Guest scooter pro Phoenix rider Josh Kish is landing a tuck no hander here.  He went huge!

This is scooter coach and counselor John Knudtson.  He tried over and over to land this trick and never gave up.  This was the first time he landed it.

There was another big foam pit sesh before dinner.  Everyone loves the foam pit so much that the deck is always full of people waiting their turn.

Camper Chad is going big into the foam pit!

Camper Dylan is here for BMX freestyle, but he shreds on a skateboard and scooter too!

Ohio Dreams has the best slip n slide ever!  In fact it's called the slip n FLY because of how high you can go.  Here is head race coach and professional BMX racer Tommy Zula boosting into the pool to end a fun day at camp.

Thanks for checking out my photos and I can't wait to come back to camp for another week!
